At a luncheon in September at Deer Park Villa, we, along with two other animal-related charities in Marin – the Marine Mammal Center and WildCare – were honored at the fundraising event called, “A Walk on the Wild Side.”

We  want to thank MVL for this timely grant. Now we can fund many more spay/neuters and buy some much-needed drop-traps and other supplies. This gift will no doubt make life easier for these cats and we thank them for that.

Ms. Elder, one of our volunteers, wrote it about the kittens we helped her rescue for TNR.

The luncheon/benefit will take place on Friday, September 28  at 11:00 a.m. at the Deer Park Villa in Fairfax. Titled, “A Walk on the Wild Side,” the BBQ and buffet will be under the redwoods and will feature presentations and a silent auction.

The Marine Mammal Center and WildCare will also be guests of honor. Proceeds from the event will benefit each charity and we  also receive a grant! We’re thrilled to have been acknowledged for our hard work on behalf of Marin’s community cats and to have been included with these other prominent animal advocate groups.
